Loka

Loka is a Helsinki based extreme harsh experimental machine pulse unit. The group includes members who have previously played in Unkind on Relapse Records and Radien on Svart Records. Their sound combines unforgiving machine driven structures with the heaviness of sludge and doom.

According to the band, their work aims to express the feeling of human caused environmental loss and the existential hopelessness that follows. The constant inner conflict of being human feels heavy when everything around is dying. Their music carries a sense of bodily horror, where the pressure of the sound becomes a physical weight in the chest.
